a gallery of seasons
My first gallery for the website was inspired by living through the beautiful seasons here in Tuscany. I could not live without seasons…each bears its own gifts enthralling my senses.
spring revives us following the shorter days of winter.
Her promise is one of renewed faith-affirming all will be well as she brightens and lengthens our days. Her voice can be heard through the joy in birdsong, her touch can be found in the burst of new leaves and flourishing blossom… new life born~
We are blessed with the gift of fresh hope~
autumn arrives with her shades of red, gold and brown.
Our woodland is carpeted with a festival of food to sustain us…chestnuts to make flour, fungi to liven our palette.
In September we give thanks to the Madonna at the shrine along our track for all she has provided.
The light is exquisite~

She feeds our senses with the beauty and scent of blooms and sheer happiness~
winter enters with her frosty fingers and cold breath.
Time to be still, light log fires and sleep a while ~
